Bot lane is the only lane where two players work together from minute one. The synergy between your ADC and Support can make or break the laning phase, and the right combination can snowball into an unbeatable late game. Here are ten of the most popular bot lane duos in ranked, how to play each one, and how often each one actually wins on the current patch.

To check these picks against real games, we measured each duo in the 300,465 ranked solo/duo games LoLSuggest tracked on patch 16.20, played between October 6 and October 13, 2026 on the Turkey, North America, Korea and Singapore servers. The table below has the results, and every duo section ends with what the data says about it.

How the ten duos do on patch 16.20

Win rate is the share of games the two champions won together in the same bot lane. Because a strong ADC wins a lot with almost any support, the table also compares each duo with its expected win rate: the ADC's patch win rate plus the support's, minus 50. A positive "vs. expected" means the pair does better together than the two champions' individual strength predicts.

With 1,000 games a win rate has a margin of error of about ±3 points, so small differences between neighbouring rows are ties. Duos with fewer than 1,000 games this patch are marked as small samples.

1. Jinx + Lulu

The classic hypercarry combo. Lulu's entire kit is designed to keep an ADC alive and amplified. Her shield, polymorph, and ultimate turn Jinx into an unkillable teamfight machine once she gets her passive reset.

• Synergy: Lulu's Whimsy gives Jinx attack speed and movement speed, amplifying her already insane late-game DPS. Wild Growth provides the peel Jinx needs to survive dives.
• Power spike: Level 6 when Lulu's ultimate makes Jinx nearly impossible to burst. Scales incredibly well into late game.
• How to play: Play safe in early levels. Focus on farming and avoiding trades until you have your core items. In team fights, Lulu stays near Jinx and uses all abilities to keep her alive while Jinx deals damage from the backline.
• Patch 16.20 data: Jinx is the strongest ADC on this list (51.8% across 49,394 games), but Lulu is one of her weaker partners this patch: 50.6% over 4,089 games (−0.5 vs. expected), the second-lowest of the 16 Jinx duos with at least 1,000 games. Jinx wins clearly more with engage supports: 55.1% with Leona and 54.6% with Thresh.

2. Lucian + Nami

One of the most feared lane-bully duos in the game. Nami's Tidecaller's Blessing applies to Lucian's double-tap passive, giving him extra damage and slow on every trade.

• Synergy: Nami's E empowers Lucian's auto attacks, and since his passive fires two shots, he procs the buff twice as fast. Nami's bubble also sets up Lucian's full combo perfectly.
• Power spike: Level 2-3 is when this duo starts dominating. The combined burst from a Nami bubble into Lucian's full combo can chunk enemies for half their health.
• How to play: Play aggressively from level 2 onward. Nami looks for bubble opportunities, and Lucian follows up with his dash and combo. Push your lead into tower plates and dragon control.
• Patch 16.20 data: A lane bully with average results: 50.6% over 2,326 games, almost exactly what Lucian (48.9%) and Nami (51.6%) win separately (+0.1 vs. expected). Lucian's most successful common partner this patch is Milio: 52.1% over 2,420 games.

3. Kai'Sa + Nautilus

A devastating all-in bot lane. Nautilus provides the longest CC chain of any support, giving Kai'Sa more than enough time to proc her passive and burst down any target.

• Synergy: Nautilus's hook, passive root, and ultimate keep enemies locked down for over 3 seconds. Kai'Sa can stack her passive easily during this CC chain and follow up with her ultimate for the kill.
• Power spike: Level 6 is a massive spike. Nautilus R is almost guaranteed to hit, and Kai'Sa can dive in with her ultimate to finish the kill.
• How to play: Look for all-ins once you hit level 2 or 3. Nautilus hooks or walks up for a passive auto attack, then Kai'Sa follows with damage. Post-6, Nautilus R into hook is nearly inescapable.
• Patch 16.20 data: Kai'Sa's most played duo, but not her best: 50.1% over 4,506 games. Kai'Sa + Blitzcrank wins 54.2% over 2,844 games, 2.9 points above expectation and her best result with any support she played at least 1,000 games with.

4. Miss Fortune + Leona

A classic combo that has stood the test of time. Leona's massive CC chains keep enemies in place for Miss Fortune's devastating Bullet Time ultimate.

• Synergy: Leona's Solar Flare stuns enemies in a cluster, setting up the perfect Bullet Time. Even in short trades, Leona's engage gives MF time to land her Q bounce and full E slow.
• Power spike: Level 6 is enormous. A well-timed Leona ult into MF ult can win a 2v2 in under two seconds.
• How to play: Leona looks for E-Q engages starting at level 2. MF follows up with auto-Q-auto trades. At level 6, coordinate your ultimates for devastating kill pressure. This duo also excels in 2v2 skirmishes with the jungler.
• Patch 16.20 data: The best of the ten once small samples are left out: 53.3% over 2,304 games, 10th of the 121 bot lane duos with at least 1,000 games this patch. The +0.2 vs. expected shows where it comes from: Leona is the strongest support on this list (52.3%) and Miss Fortune is above average too (50.8%), so the pair wins about what the two earn separately.

5. Caitlyn + Morgana

The trap lane. Morgana's binding sets up guaranteed Caitlyn trap combos, creating an oppressive laning phase where one mistake means losing half your health bar.

• Synergy: When Morgana lands Dark Binding, Caitlyn places a Yordle Snap Trap under the rooted enemy, guaranteeing a headshot. This combo chunks for enormous damage in lane. Morgana's Black Shield also protects Caitlyn from engage supports.
• Power spike: Level 1 onward. This duo dominates from the first wave. The threat of Morgana Q into Caitlyn trap zones enemies off CS constantly.
• How to play: Control the lane through zoning. Place Caitlyn traps in chokepoints and behind minions. Morgana looks for binding angles through the wave. Even if you do not get kills, the CS advantage from the pressure is significant.
• Patch 16.20 data: The trap lane holds up: 51.8% over 4,090 games, 1.3 points above expectation. Among Caitlyn's duos with at least 1,000 games only Caitlyn + Leona does better (52.0%), and that gap is within the margin of error.

6. Vayne + Thresh

A skill-intensive duo with incredible playmaking potential. Thresh's lantern provides Vayne with both engage and escape options that she otherwise lacks.

• Synergy: Thresh's Flay and Hook can peel for Vayne or set up kills. The lantern is the key ability, allowing Vayne to play aggressively and then take the lantern to safety, or letting Thresh engage and pulling Vayne in.
• Power spike: Vayne's 2-3 item spike combined with Thresh's utility makes them a mid-game powerhouse. Vayne melts tanks while Thresh keeps her safe.
• How to play: Survive the early game by playing cautiously. Thresh protects Vayne from ganks with lantern and flay. Once Vayne has Blade of the Ruined King, you can start looking for aggressive trades and all-ins.
• Patch 16.20 data: The weakest result of the ten: 45.4% over 711 games, 5.1 points below what Vayne (48.9%) and Thresh (51.6%) win separately. With 711 games the margin of error is about ±3.7 points, so even the most generous reading stays below 50%. Treat it as a duo for players who have mastered both champions.

7. Draven + Leona

The most aggressive bot lane possible. Both champions want to fight constantly, and when they get ahead, the lane becomes completely unplayable for the enemy.

• Synergy: Leona's CC lets Draven land multiple empowered auto attacks without the enemy being able to trade back. Draven's massive early damage combined with Leona's aftershock burst can one-shot enemy carries at level 2.
• Power spike: Level 2 all-in is one of the strongest in the game. If Draven is spinning two axes and Leona hits E-Q, the enemy ADC is almost certainly dead.
• How to play: Push for level 2 advantage aggressively. Leona engages the moment you hit level 2 before the enemy. Snowball the lane lead into a gold advantage through kills and tower plates. Cash in Draven's passive stacks for massive gold swings.
• Patch 16.20 data: Too rare to call this patch: 504 games leave a margin of error of about ±4.4 points around its 51.0%. Draven was picked as an ADC in only 9,107 games on patch 16.20, so none of his duos has reached 1,000 games yet.

8. Ezreal + Karma

A safe, poke-heavy duo that excels in lane without needing to commit to all-ins. Both champions have tools to survive ganks and bully from range.

• Synergy: Karma's Inspire shield gives Ezreal movement speed to reposition for Q poke. Mantra Q from Karma combined with Ezreal Q creates overwhelming poke that forces enemies out of lane.
• Power spike: Strong from level 1. The poke pressure starts immediately and scales well with items. Ezreal's Sheen spike at first back is a notable power jump.
• How to play: Poke constantly with Q abilities from both champions. Never overcommit to all-ins. Use Ezreal's E and Karma's shield speed for safe disengages. Win through attrition by forcing the enemy to recall repeatedly.
• Patch 16.20 data: The duo sits below 50% because Ezreal does: he wins 46.2% as an ADC this patch, the lowest of the ten ADCs on this list. Karma still helps him: 47.7% over 2,352 games, 2.5 points above expectation, which is Karma's best result with any ADC she played at least 500 games with.

9. Samira + Rell

A wombo-combo duo designed for chaotic all-ins. Rell's massive AoE engage perfectly sets up Samira's ultimate for devastating team fight damage.

• Synergy: Rell's engage pulls enemies together and applies extended CC. Samira can stack her style grade quickly during Rell's CC chain and then activate Inferno Trigger to deal massive AoE damage in the middle of the fight.
• Power spike: Level 6 is a huge spike. Rell W-R into Samira S-rank ultimate can 2v2 almost any bot lane duo.
• How to play: Farm safely pre-6 unless you find a great engage angle. At level 6, Rell looks for multi-person engages, ideally on both enemy bot laners. Samira follows up, builds her style grade through the CC'd enemies, and unleashes her ultimate.
• Patch 16.20 data: Promising but rare: 53.7% over 549 games, 3.2 points above expectation. With so few games the margin of error is about ±4.2 points, so it is not yet clearly above 50%. Samira's most played duo, Samira + Nautilus, wins 50.6% over 1,845 games.

10. Ashe + Braum

A reliable, teamfight-oriented duo that provides massive utility. Both champions bring strong crowd control and work well at all stages of the game.

• Synergy: Ashe's constant auto attack slows make it easy for Braum to stack his passive for a stun. In team fights, Ashe arrow into Braum ultimate creates an enormous CC zone.
• Power spike: Consistent throughout the game. Level 6 provides kill pressure with Ashe arrow. Mid game team fights is where this duo truly excels with their combined CC.
• How to play: Play for short trades in lane using Ashe's range advantage. Braum blocks incoming poke with his shield. In team fights, Ashe initiates with her arrow from long range, and Braum follows up with his ultimate on the stunned group.
• Patch 16.20 data: An average duo: 50.3% over 1,090 games (+0.1 vs. expected). Ashe does better with mages this patch: 52.4% with Seraphine (4,234 games) and 52.4% with Lux (1,758).

Choosing the Right Duo

When selecting a bot lane duo, consider these factors:

• Your playstyle: Aggressive duos like Draven + Leona require confidence and coordination. Passive duos like Ezreal + Karma suit players who prefer to scale.
• Enemy matchup: All-in duos are strong against poke lanes. Poke lanes beat sustain lanes. Sustain lanes can survive against all-in lanes.
• Team composition: If your team needs a frontline, pick a tanky support. If your team already has engage, an enchanter may be more valuable.
• Communication: High-synergy duos like Samira + Rell require good timing and communication. If you are not on voice chat, simpler duos are more reliable.
