AP Twitch plays for stealthy all-ins: enter with Ambush, slow with Venom Cask, use Spray and Pray to keep your distance, then finish with Contaminate. Laning depends heavily on the matchup, so our guide's main advice is about vision, tracking cooldowns and managing mana.

AP Twitch runs Press the Attack with Presence of Mind, Legend: Alacrity and Cut Down, plus Absolute Focus and Gathering Storm. Take Flash with Ignite to be aggressive, Barrier to be safer, or Cleanse into hard CC. Start Doran's Ring with two potions and buy Dark Seal and Amplifying Tome on your first back. The AP build is Nashor's Tooth, Ionian Boots of Lucidity, Rabadon's Deathcap and Zhonya's Hourglass, finishing with Mejai's Soulstealer, Shadowflame and Void Staff, or Banshee's Veil. The AD build goes Gluttonous Greaves, The Collector and Fiendhunter Bolts into Infinity Edge, Lord Dominik's Regards, Experimental Hexplate and Bloodthirster, while the Lethal Tempo AD build uses Yun Tal Wildarrows, Berserker's Greaves, Infinity Edge and Runaan's Hurricane.

Strengths

Stealth all-ins that are hard to see coming.
Venom Cask slows enemies, making them hard to escape or kite.
Flexible builds: AP, AD crit or AD Lethal Tempo.

Weaknesses

Very mana-hungry, especially early.
Control Wards and reveals like Kai'Sa's W expose his approach.
Hard lanes into Corki, Kai'Sa or Yasuo.

Laning Phase

Control vision in your lane's three brushes and check them before any play, since enemies often buy a Control Ward to expose your all-ins. Track both summoner and ability cooldowns — for example, Mel's W can reflect your Venom Cask and its slow back onto you. Don't spam W just for passive damage; save your mana for all-ins, shoving or escaping. Decide before each trade whether Ambush is your engage or your escape.

Mid & Late Game

Your main combo is Ambush to get in range unseen, Venom Cask to slow, Spray and Pray to stay at a safe distance from heavy hitters like Draven or Miss Fortune, a few autos to stack Deadly Venom, then Contaminate last for maximum damage. Supports who lock down and peel, like Leona or Nautilus, make these all-ins much safer.

Key Tips

Save Contaminate for the end of your combo so it deals maximum damage.
Against Draven, throw Venom Cask and save Ambush until he uses his speed boost.
Avoid fighting Aphelios when he holds his red or white guns.
