Sejuani Guide

Jungle

Sejuani is a ganking tank: full clear, then gank constantly — especially after 6 — and give kills to your laners rather than taking them. She's strongest until about 25–30 minutes, so use picks to secure objectives and try to end before enemy hypercarries take over.

The most-used page is Aftershock with Font of Life, Conditioning and Overgrowth, plus Triumph and Legend: Alacrity; Domination secondaries with Cheap Shot and Ultimate Hunter are the alternative. Take Flash and Gustwalker Smite. After your first clear, buy a Giant's Belt, plus boots or a Ruby Crystal if you have gold. The core is Heartsteel, boots and Unending Despair — usually Mercury's Treads, or Plated Steelcaps against AD. Add Thornmail, Jak'Sho or Kaenic Rookern third and fourth, and finish with Randuin's Omen, Protoplasm Harness, Frozen Heart or Zeke's Convergence.

Strengths

  • Very tanky, with three separate forms of crowd control.
  • Great ganker and teamfighter, with an ultimate that's excellent for long-range picks.
  • Decent damage for a tank and relatively easy to play.

Weaknesses

  • Weaker late game, when ADCs and mages can shred her.
  • Can struggle to reach the backline since one frontliner can block her CC.
  • Team- and comp-reliant — Permafrost needs melee allies to stack; Trundle, Kayn and Lillia are hard matchups.

Laning Phase

Start on blue side almost every game — gromp and wolves are faster for her than raptors and krugs. Smite blue at level 1 for a quicker W, then gromp and wolves, Arctic Assault over the wall to raptors, red, and over the wall again to krugs. Full clear before ganking, since a second point in W boosts your damage. Take Scuttle, look for a gank or double Scuttle, then recall. From level 6 constantly gank, especially bot — a good bot gank nearly guarantees first Dragon.

Mid & Late Game

The mid game is your strongest. If a damage jungler starts out-farming you, look for ganks and 2v2 or 3v3 river skirmishes, especially before objectives — a pick 20 seconds before Dragon or Baron almost guarantees it. Late game, stay with your team on the frontline, take every pick you can, and choose whether to ult the frontline for a wide stun, one-shot the ADC, or hold it to peel.

Key Tips

  • Don't throw Arctic Assault blindly early — bait dashes or Flash first.
  • Damage combo: Q in, auto, W, auto to stack, E stun, auto to proc your passive, then R and another auto or W.
  • After a stun, the target can't gain new Frost stacks for 8 seconds, so stun with E first, then ult.
  • Pair her with melee tank supports like Braum, Leona or Nautilus.
