LeBlanc Guide

Mid

LeBlanc is a one-dimensional burst assassin: bully your lane with Electrocute trades, take side lanes in the mid game to collect resources, then flank from fog of war in teamfights to delete the enemy's squishy backline. Gunblade adds the burst to one-shot squishies without landing Ethereal Chains, plus sustain and tower damage.

Electrocute with Sudden Impact, Grisly Mementos and a hunter rune, plus Manaflow Band and Transcendence (or Legend: Haste and Cut Down). Take Flash and Ignite, or Teleport in lanes where you have no kill pressure, like Vex, Viktor, Ryze or Galio. The standard build is Hextech Gunblade, Spellslinger's Shoes and Shadowflame, then Rabadon's Deathcap and Void Staff (swap the order against magic resist, or take Zhonya's Hourglass when it's valuable). Against health stackers, we recommend Luden's Echo with Crimson Lucidity boots instead. Gunblade's omnivamp fixes LeBlanc's lack of sustain, and its AD speeds up last hits and turret damage.

Strengths

  • Huge burst damage and mobility that also deals damage.
  • Lane bully in almost every matchup, with an easy escape from ganks.
  • Great with aggressive junglers and supports that like to invade and dive.

Weaknesses

  • Abysmal into tanks, magic resist and health stackers — she has no sustained damage.
  • Crowd control in teamfights gets her killed even through her clone.
  • Little ability haste on her items, so she waits longer to rejoin fights.

Laning Phase

At level 1, auto the enemy as they last-hit, Distortion in for another auto and W back to proc Electrocute. From level 2, Q+W is your main trade (take E second against Fizz, Yasuo or Ekko). At 3, W in and throw E first — if it hits, Q quickly and auto to finish the Electrocute. Max W from level 4. After 6, use R(W) to get in range, then Q, W and an auto to chunk the enemy into kill range. Recall on cannon waves, since you have no sustain.

Mid & Late Game

Don't just group and leech experience. Push side lanes — ideally with your jungler nearby — then hover in fog of war to threaten mid, using Oracle Lens to clear vision, and always push your wave before you move. In teamfights flank from out of vision toward the enemy ADC and squishies; Gunblade's active is easy to land when enemies are grouped. If a Malphite or Galio is watching for you, flank from the other side.

Key Tips

  • Grisly Mementos lowers your Oracle Lens cooldown, helping you sweep and flank.
  • Q+W+Gunblade alone can proc Electrocute and one-shot squishies without the chain.
  • Pick her into immobile, squishy champions like Lux, Soraka or Nami; avoid her into three or four tanks.
