Kindred Guide

Jungle

Kindred is an ADC in the jungle: weak early and item-reliant, but with a unique Mark of the Kindred passive that adds range and damage as you collect marks. Farm toward Trinity Force, take marks only when they're safe, kite carefully, and turn fights and objectives with Lamb's Respite.

The standard page is Lethal Tempo with Triumph, Legend: Bloodline and Cut Down, plus Sudden Impact and Relentless Hunter; Press the Attack pages with Magical Footwear and Cosmic Insight or Cash Back and Jack of All Trades are equally good, while Conqueror is only for the rarely recommended bruiser build. Take Flash and Smite (Scorchclaw is the default pet). Rush Trinity Force — it greatly improves your dueling — then Plated Steelcaps and Infinity Edge, followed by Hexoptics C44, Lord Dominik's Regards and Mercurial Scimitar, or Phantom Dancer late. Bloodthirster, Mortal Reminder and Immortal Shieldbow are situational. Max Q, then W, then E.

Strengths

  • Unique playstyle — marks add range and power, letting her scale almost endlessly.
  • Snowballs easily when fed.
  • Lamb's Respite can decide teamfights and objective fights.

Weaknesses

  • Weaker early than most junglers; she needs marks and items to spike.
  • Lowest base range of any ADC, and easily one-shot by assassins like Kha'Zix or Shaco.
  • High skill floor: requires jungle tracking, kiting and discipline about marks.

Laning Phase

Know what the enemy jungler can and can't do, and track them by watching which buffs and camps they've taken. As an ADC you're weak early, so look for ganks and invades to collect marks only when they're guaranteed — don't let teammates drag you into bad plays when you should be farming and taking objectives. Focus your jungle and Trinity Force first; go for a mark when the target is overextended or the enemy jungler is dead.

Mid & Late Game

From 14 minutes, push: take turrets (ideally with Rift Herald) and contest objective bounties. Prioritize Dragon Soul, even over Baron, and play for Baron to push and end. Later, avoid getting caught — long death timers make an ace game-losing. In every fight, kite: attack-move, step away, and keep enemies at the edge of your range.

Key Tips

  • Cast Dance of Arrows before Wolf's Frenzy, then reuse it as often as possible inside the zone.
  • Use Wolf's Frenzy to check brush or start objectives without engaging yourself.
  • Bind Attack Move Click and practise kiting even on jungle camps.
  • Don't fall into 'dying for a mark' — skip risky marks early.
